Day 2 - Burton and Beyond

Yesterday was a relatively straight forward operation, certainly after Monday’s adventure. No punctures, no crashes and most importantly no rain. Then day was hard as we covered nearly 70 miles and we were still pretty cream crackered and there are some big hills around Stoke.

We arrived at Burton Albion at 1pm, right on schedule and we were made very welcome. We were very impressed with the stadium and the pitch looked superb. After a few pictures we had lunch, then moved on to the local ASDA store for a short while before heading off again for Wolverhampton. We were starting to flag a bit by now, and Mike was developing a bit of a problem with his knee, so by the time we arrived at our destination we were really glad to have made it. The girls did a great job patching us up and getting our legs working again, the Phil made some pretty fantastic fajitis.
Today we are off to Wolves, in fact I am being hassled as I write to get on. So ttfn.”Alright, just coming...”
